Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to An Evening with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood.

First, the pictures (that's my BFF Rebecca with me. She's never met anyone famous before).

(When we were setting up for this picture, Colin put his hand on my shoulder. :D)

Driving to Phoenix. (It's about 3 hours one way)

Yay!

There's a bar/club you wait in before you go into the actual theatre, and they have pictures of past performers. That's the late and great Mitch Hedberg.

Waiting to see the show. The flash was REALLY bright in that dark theatre.

This is Rebecca's "Oh my gosh I met famous people!" look.

This is my "I saw Colin and Brad again!" look.

And now for the show report (there's even a shout-out to my TDS/TCR peeps)

The show started about 20 minutes late, because people kept coming in. Brad was like "Just for their sake...Good night everyone!" and started to leave the stage.

Moving Bodies
It was set in Lichtenstein, their mode of transportation was a gazelle, and they had to use an apple in the scene. The girl who had Brad kept putting his hands in really awkward positions, and at one point tapped his butt (I think she was going for his legs and missed somehow). He squealed like a little girl. XD

One Word At a Time
I've never seen them play this game, and they didn't introduce it by name, so I'm gonna call it One Word At a Time. Brad would speak one word, Colin would speak the next, etc. They were pitching a sort of infomercial for elephants who could help you find beer/who liked to get drunk. Then they took questions from the audience, still going back and forth.

Sentences
The setting was Egypt. Colin and Brad were brothers named Ramses and Tim (respectively). There were a lot of sentences about hats and pants. At one point, Brad said something about Colin's father being his father, and Colin pulled that "I know!" that I love him so dearly for. (Remember in the bloopers on the first disc of 1st season US WL, when Ryan said something about how Tarzan only had the animals before Jane came and the audience groaned and Ryan said, "As friends!" and Colin said, "I know!" That was it.)
One of the sentences that Colin had was "Snack happy." He rolled his eyes.
One of the sentences that Brad had was "Screw you!" He read it off and then proudly displayed it to Colin.

Interrogation
That's right, folks, they played it. I was pretty surprised. Brad ripped the tag off the mattress of Henry VIII, put food coloring in the holy water at church (at one point he called it communion water and Colin made fun of him for that the rest of the night), then went to the town of Niscauna (Nee-ska-you-na) to Jorge's (hard g, not silent g) kilt manufacturing company with a pocket rocket.
Colin's hit for the first part of the town's name was something about Monty Python's knights. :D
With a kilt manufacturing company, you would think Colin would slip in some of his Scottish accent...but no. :(
And seriously, a pocket rocket? *ded*

Intermission went here.
When they came back, Brad said, "We didn't even change clothes or anything. That's okay, I'm wearing his (Colin's) pants now." *DEAD*

The Torture Game
consisted of Questions Only, Letter Substitution (d for s, which resulted in a lot of "dick" and "addhole"), One Syllable Word, one more game I cannot remember for the life of me, and Scene to Rap.

Sound Effects
They were pet cleaners/mail carriers. It ended with a house on fire and a bullhorn set to "gay"/"guy". *facepalm* I was so hoping it wasn't going there, but it went there.

Mousetraps
We all know the deal with this one. :)

TDS/TCR folk - They played "Back in Black" a couple times throughout the night. :D

Meeting Colin and Brad after the show...

When we finally figured out where they would be exiting, we waited at almost the end of the line of about 15 people. Colin and Brad came out and started walking over to the barricade we were behind. One woman said, "Oh, we weren't waiting for you." And they went, "Oh, okay, so we'll leave."
When they finally got down the line to us, I shook their hands and said, "Hi, I'm Jessica. I met you guys in Tucson last year." And Colin said, "Oh, yeah, Jessica, sure, I remember." and rolled his eyes. XD
I was really calm and cool with them this time around. I even cracked a few jokes and got them to laugh. :D
I got hugs, too. :D
I congratulated Brad on his wedding.
I asked Colin if he and Deb were doing anything together soon. He said, no, that she was too busy being on a Canadian TV show.
We helped the two ladies behind us with their pictures, and the one woman said, "My oldest son is six years old. He doesn't speak a word of English, and yet he laughs just watching you two on TV." Awww.

Heather: Both Colin and Brad signed a piece of paper for you. When I told Colin you were in love with him, Brad goes, "What's wrong with her?"
Claire: Both Colin and Brad signed the back of Rebecca's ticket for you.
Clay: I told you this in the email already, but Colin told me that he loved your drawing.

I've been in love with you ever since we met. I know you don't feel that way about me, and I know that it probably wouldn't work out, but I can't help but hope anyway. You're the only one I've ever felt this way about.

2. I just met you today, you're really cute, and I think I might end up liking you.

3. If I were a lesbian, you'd be the first girl I'd go to.

4. I still think about what happened between us every once in a while and it gets me so mad. How could you take advantage of me like that? I was young and naive, ready to believe anything and you took advantage of me. It really hurt.

5. I'm afraid that if we met in person, you wouldn't like me.

6. I don't say this to you because we were never big on emotion in our relationship - but thank you for everything you've done for me. You've done more for me than anyone else and sometimes I don't appreciate you. For that, I'm sorry.

9. I wish we could be closer.

10.
